Habitat Hospitality Design (HHD) is an independent, creatively led, eco-friendly furniture design & manufacturing company that creates a feel-good sensation between the companies and their guests with the furniture they create.
We started HHD with a commitment to craftsmanship, sustainability and environmentally friendly practices. Only woods that are FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) Certified, and woods from certified sustainable plantations with environmentally responsible growing and harvesting practices, are utilized in our designs.
A combination of very talented designers, architects, craftsmen, sketch artists, CAD technicians and support staff in our Indonesian Design Studio and the US, makes us a unique and different company.
With our unique approach to furniture design and manufacturing, we value-engineer our furniture as part of our commitment to constantly strive to exceed our customers expectations with respect to both quality and price point.
Even though we have a passion for wood art, we also use copper, aluminum, bronze, steel, fabric, leather, veneers and many other materials & textures in our designs.
Our designs are always rendered to meet branding specifications and to visualize the concepts from owners, architects and designers with a goal of exceeding not only their design requirements, but also keep within or below their budgetary requirements. |

Phil Roth
Life’s too short not to work with a passion and commitment to what you do and create.
Phil Roth is the founder and President of Habitat Hospitality Design. Phil’s previous experience in the hospitality industry gives him an obvious advantage in the furniture design industry, with a unique eye and understanding of what really works.
As a previous owner and general manager for Hotel Milano, a 300 room hotel in San Francisco, he has come to appreciate the owner’s concerns for durable and functional furniture, and at the same time he has a true appreciation for art and good design.
Working for his father, who was a Hospital Administrator and Retirement Home owner for many years, Phil also has a unique understanding of the special needs of Senior Living projects.
Phil loves the outdoors and nature, and it is here he feels free to create anything the heart can desire and the mind can imagine. And with over 30 years of experience in the industry, you will find it both enjoyable and rewarding to work with someone like Phil on any project you have. |
